There are two kinds of people, one who find burgers unnecessary heavy and overrated, second who only enter a restaurant to scan the menu for their tallest, meanest and juiciest burgers. If you by any chance fall in the second category and have been craving custom-built burgers, turning your gaze towards GOBSMACKERS, Gurgaon, could prove to be a good idea. A brainchild of young chefs Parth Saxena and Priyam Kumar, Gobsmackers, the delivery-only cloud kitchen focuses on serving intensely satisfying burgers to your doorstep. You can pick and choose from a range of veggies, greens, relish, sauces, patty and buns, and build your burger the way you want! Sound like a dream, right?
So we had a total of four burgers, two classics, two DIY and one salad. The classic burgers are basically burgers assembled by them, but everything inside is picked by you. Cap N’ Chicken and the Jeju black were two classic burgers we chose, while the former had a fat smoky chicken patty, caramelized onions, scallions and a sweet-hot glaze, the Jeju black was pork burger with gochujang-style pulled pork, brown sugar, cheese, olives, saurkraut, cucumber and cheese. The latter was so juicy, we actually had to use a tissue to wipe off the juice that oozed out during all the chomping (not complaining, really). But since this burger has a slightly sweet tinge, you may like to choose other burgers if you are the sorts who like their burgers fiery hot.

We did have a lot of fun assembling the DIY burgers too, we tried putting together ‘The G.O.A.T’ (their mutton burger) and ‘The Groot'(one of their vegetarian variants). To make the mutton burger we decided to go with the classic bun, and the insides comprised a mighty mutton patty for protein, cheese, white relish, pickles, bacon, tangy relish and caramelised onions. This burger screamed indulgence.

For the vegetarian burger, we went for the multi-grain bun, which we first slathered over with the white barbecue sauce for the moisture, followed it up with a layer of green, fermented pickles, then went the jalapenos, sauteed mushrooms, cheese and a mixed-vegetable patty. Wholesome and satisfying!
The salad again was quite a spectacular fare with fresh greens, seeds, black bean patty, quinoa, barley, corn, jalapeno, olives, mushrooms, and a citric dressing.
