Kolkata:
Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a strong pitch for the BJP in Bengal on Friday evening, asking voters to give “one chance to Modi government for development”. “You have given opportunity to the Congress, the Left and the Trinamool Congress. Give one to us. We promise to build ‘shonar Bangla (golden Bengal) in 5 years,” Mr Shah told reporters at the conclusion of a two-day visit.
Mr Shah’s whistlestop tour was focused on reshaping and rejuvenating the BJP’s organisational structure ahead of state polls expected in April-May.
