This is the best time of the year to enjoy a late Sunday brunch on a sunny day amid a soothing ambience. AnnaMaya, the European food hall at Andaz Delhi, has brought back its Sunday Artisan Brunch for you to enjoy the weekend to the hilt over an expansive meal. Catering to early risers as well as night owls, the brunch buffet is an exciting combination of breakfast and lunch that happens between 6.30 AM and 4 PM on all Sundays at AnnaMaya Delhi.
After 12, at noon, the lunch menu gets added to the breakfast offerings. The entire lunch menu is prepared fresh by the chefs. In addition to loads of interesting food, healthy breakfast bowls, farm-to-table recipes, organic dishes and scores of desserts, Sunday-special meals are also quite an attraction. The bespoke menu for Sunday Brunch has been curated by Chef Vikram Ganpule, the Executive Chef at AnnaMaya. Craft pop-ups and live music enhance the brunch experience.
Here, I’ll share my experience at the AnnaMaya’s Sunday Brunch.
The first thing that caught my attention was the huge bar offering fresh fruit juices, lassi, iced tea, cocktails, mocktail and more. I must add, my mocktail was very refreshing to cool off the sweltering heat.
I started my meal with Artisanal Canapes for starters and really liked Mushroom Cheese Baguette, Bacon and Caramelised Onion On Oats Crostini. Aloe Vera Oats Crostini piqued my curiosity and was quite refreshing to eat but it could do better with some more elements. But there were some interesting cheese options like Gouda Cheese and Montasio Cheese which complemented the bites well. Tandoori Baked Fish, Gilafi Seekh Kebabk and Chicken Tikka satiated my craving for some ‘desi’ snacks.
For the mains, I tried Gulnaar Kofta, Butter Chicken, Pumpkin Bharta and Dal Makhani. While I salivated over Gulnaar Kofta, Butter Chicken was a bit of a turn-off as I was really excited for my favourite dish, which hardly disappoints, especially in Delhi. But, I found Kathal Biryani and Chicken Biryani worth trying.
A line-up of muffins, pies, cheesecake, oh, and churros as well, loosened up my appetite further after a hefty meal.

AnnaMaya is known for sourcing all ingredients for the brunch from partners and farms around the country. The food hall follows the ‘Made in India’ concept, as all products used have to be produced in India. This is impressive enough to push me to visit the place again.
