Australia cricket star Glenn Maxwell was left furious over a robbery at a Sydney ATM that involved two men robbing a wheelchair-bound man with cerebral palsy. The video of the shocking robbery has been released in an appeal for information.

The 42-year-old man was attacked moments after he withdrew cash from an ATM in Sydney on Sunday, according to 9News.

The man, identified as Julian Stuart, noticed the two men while he was heading towards the machine and asked them if they were going to use the machine.

As Stuart was about to leave the ATM, one of the two men grabbed his money and ran away. Stuart said he is a ‘disabled pensioner’ and it was disheartening to see what the ‘bad people’ did to him.

“All of a sudden one of them just lunged at me and grabbed the money. You don’t expect someone to do that to you,” Stuart told 9News.

“I’m born with cerebral palsy and I’ve had a great life and there’s always someone there to lend a hand but unfortunately there’s bad people out there.”

Sharing the clip on social media, Glenn Maxwell said he is not being able to believe what the robbers have done to the innocent man.

“Please help find these scumbags!!! This is absolutely disgusting and I can’t believe anyone would stoop this low,” Maxwell wrote.

The news report said that Stuart was not injured during the incident and he was helped by people around him.

Former Australia batsman Damien Martyn also shared the clip on social media and appealed to his followers to help the authorities identify the robbers.

“Please retweet and catch these low life scum bags! Catch them and shame them plus take away any Govt benefits they receive.. Tough rules,” Martyn wrote.
