Eid-Ul-Fitr was celebrated in India on 25th May, 2020. Bollywood celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and the likes extended their warm greetings to people on the occasion. Some celebrities took to Instagram to share glimpses of their Eid celebrations and interesting delicacies that they prepared. From Saif Ali Khan’s drool worthy mutton biryani to Twinkle Khanna’s kichda, there were a number of delicious dishes prepared that we feasted our eyes on.

1. Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan And Karisma Kapoor

Saif Ali Khan had begun learning cooking for his 2017 movie ‘Chef’ and this Eid, he proved his prowess in the kitchen! The actor cooked up a sumptuous Mutton Biryani for family and friends for Eid-ul-Fitr – and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor both testified to its deliciousness. 2. Ishaan Khatter

The actor is quite vocal about his love for food, and the occasion of Eid was no different for him. Ishaan Khatter savoured a Semiya Kheer on Eid-ul-Fitr made by his mother Neelima Azeem. “Stuff of legends,” was what Khatter referred to the preparation as in his Instagram story.

3. Swara Bhasker

Swara Bhasker had recently celebrated her quarantine birthday with a delicious sugar-free dates cake that she prepared at home. Her Eid celebrations were no different as she dressed up and devoured some delightful Sheer Khurma made at home. Swara Bhasker shared a picture of herself on Instagram stories with the caption, “Yes I basically got all dressed up to eat Sheer Khurma… Because why not? It’s Eid after all!

4. Twinkle Khanna

Twinkle Khanna’s Eid celebrations were all about food too. She penned a heartfelt note to her grandmother on the festival, saying that she missed her signature ‘Kichda’. “We rarely made biryani on Eid. Our treat was always Nani’s delicious Kichda and decorated envelopes with our Eidi. This year, our hearts and our table have too many empty spaces without her to fill it all up. #eidmubarak,” wrote Twinkle Khanna on Instagram. Take a look at her post!
