Shangri-Las Eros New Food Festival Brings The Best Of Thai Cuisine For Patrons


Tamra, Shangri-La’s is hosting Thai Food festival in honour of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand. The award-winning restaurant would be hosting the festival from 3rd December to 10th December 2020, and there’s enough for you to look forward to if you dig Thai Food. ‘Taste of Thailand’ food festival is fascinating culinary pop-up showcasing classic Thai dishes like Thai green curry, Tom yum salad, Spring Rolls, Jasmine rice and more. The set menu curated by Executive Chef Sahil Arora celebrates the rich and diverse gastronomic history of Thai food. Thai food is renowned for its mild flavours and fine balance.

The menu comprised of Por Pia Phak, Thai vegetable spring rolls, that aren’t like any other spring rolls you have had before, but made with a stuffing of glass noodles and sprouts served with the side of sweet chilli dip. Then there is the famous Som Tam salad made with shreds of raw papaya, chilli and hints of tamarind. Thai curry fans, you would be delighted by the ever-so mild and soothing Thai green curry made with goodness of basil, peanuts, coconut milk, broccoli and other crunchy vegetables. The Pad Kra Pao Kai, a dry spicy chilli basil chicken preparation is also a memorable dish. To finish off the meal there is Kluai Buat, a delectable banana and coconut cream dessert. For drinks you can either opt for Thai Latte or a Thai Iced Latte.

You can either enjoy the experience at Tamra from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m and 7 to 11:30 p.m or get the bento box home-delivered.
