One of the legendary names in WWE, The Undertaker recently admitted that he was jealous of the clarity with which his arch-rival Shawn Michaels retired from the ring after WrestleMania 26.

The UnderTaker said Shawn Michael was clear about his retirement call when he walked away from the ring after the celebrated match in WrestleMania 26.

In what is considered one of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker faced off in ‘Career vs Streak’. While the match began with both the wrestlers showcasing their prowess, it was The Undertaker who prevailed and extended his WrestleMania streak to 18-0.

Shawn Michaels retired from WWE following the high-voltage encounter at WrestleMania 36.

On the other hand, The Undertaker, 55, is still a force to reckon with in the WWE. In WrestleMania 36, The Undertaker emerged victorious in the Boneyard match that turned out to be a spectacle.

“‘m so envious of Shawn because he was able to walk away and be…he was good with it. Do I wish I had that kind of clarity? Absolutely,” Undertaker said in WWE Network’s latest docu-series, ‘Undertaker: The Last Ride’.

“He had the clarity before going into the match. Hopefully, when I have the match I’m looking for, I have that clarity. ‘Okay, that’s it.'”

Responding to Undertaker’s comments on the docu-series, Shawn Michaels said he is touched by the way the WWE legend was able to discuss his emotions on a public forum.

“It was a sign of him, a vulnerability that nobody knows about. He was already just doing one a year at that time in a very limited schedule. And most people really enjoy doing that and can do that for quite some time. So, I understood the comment, I was struck by the tone of it. It wasn’t until much later that I sort of grasped that,” Michaels said.

“I didn’t know he was gonna come out publicly in that way because it takes a lot of vulnerability… man, not everybody wants to go there in this line of work.”
