With no cricketing action possible due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, former and current players are keeping themselves busy by engaging with each other and fans on social media.

Indian captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday took a sly dig at off-spinner Harbhajan Singh after the latter posted a video of him exercising on Instagram.Harbhajan shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen doing a routine, using dumbbells, and his post read: “Excercise must.”

Kohli came up with a hilarious comment on Harbhajan’s workout clip and wrote: “Well done Paaji. Building kaamp rahi hai magar thodi thodi (the building is shaking a bit).”

Harbhajan, posting a series of laugh emojis, replied, “slowly it will get better.. wait till this whole thing get over thn we have a session together..”

In ideal circumstances, both India cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Virat Kohli would have been representing their respective IPL teams in the 13th edition of the cash rich t20 league but the tournament has been postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to the global health crisis caused by coronavirus.

Harbhajan said he believes he has still got what it takes to knock opposition batsmen out in international cricket, especially in the T20 format. The Chennai Super Kings off-spinner said his performances in the IPL prove he is still capable of wearing the blue jersey at the highest level.

Harbhajan Singh has not played for India since March 2016 and he hasn’t been playing first-class cricket since 2017 season as well. Nonetheless, Harbhajan has been an integral member of Chennai Super Kings since the time he made the switch from Mumbai Indians in 2018. Harbhajan picked up 16 wickets in IPL 2019 for CSK in 11 matches and finished with best bowling figures of 3/20.
