Due to the threat of the coronavirus outbreak, cricketers, like all other players, have been trying to kill time by keeping themselves involved in some indoor activities or through social media.

During this Covid-19 shutdown when nearly all cricketing activities have been suspended, India pacer Mohammed Shami is also spending time at home and using this time to sharpen his batting skills.

Shami on Friday posted a video on social media where he was seen playing indoor cricket with his brother. However, Shami also posted a query in the caption of the video where he asked for the rules of the indoor game.

Former India pacer Irfan Pathan also commented on Shami’s post and asked who was bowling to the latter.

The Covid-19 crisis had led to suspension of events but now the sporting world is aiming to resume the tournaments that were put on hold. The Bundesliga season has already started and Premier League is set to resume from June 17.

Cricket Australia also announced the fixtures after saying it is confident of hosting a safe and successful summer which promises to thrill cricket fans across the globe who are starved of live-action due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

India will begin their tour of Australia in October as they are scheduled to play a 3-match T20I series between October 11 and 17.

The much-anticipated 4-Test series will kickstart from December 3, as reported by India Today on Wednesday. Brisbane will host the series opener while Adelaide will host the 2nd Test, which will be a day-night affair with the pink balll.
