Salaam Cricket 2020: Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar part of star-studded line-up at mega conclave

India Today is back with another edition of Salaam Cricket, the mega cricket conclave that will bring some of the greats of the game in one platform. This year, the star-studded gathering will happen virtually at E-Salaam Cricket on June 13.

Live sporting action has been a rarity due to the Covid-19 pandemic but there is a lot to look forward to as international cricket is all set to resume in July with West Indies taking on England in a 3-Test series in the Old Blighty.

Cricket will be played under some strange circumstances in the near future in order to make sure the players, the fans and the stakeholders are safe but fans of the sport are eagerly looking forward to witness live action.

As we head into an interesting phase of the sport, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar will offer his thoughts on how the sport will look like when it resumes.

World Cup-winning fast bowler Madan Lal, RP Singh and former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin will also open up about the immediate future of the sport in the wake of the pandemic.

Well, there is a lot more on offer at Salaam Cricket. Sachin Tendulkar will be joining us for an exciting session ‘Sachin Sachin’.

World Cup heroes Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh are set to lit up the panel, recalling some of the glorious moments from India’s historic win.

Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur are set to join India women’s team head coach WV Raman to discuss the sport, including the build-up to one of next year’s biggest tournaments — Women’s World Cup 2021.

Don’t miss out on this session on fast bowling and how it’s changing in Indian cricket by Mohammed Shami and Irfan Pathan.
