Fish pieces are cooked in a dense gravy of onions and tomatoes combined with a special masala paste. Apart from the preparation time, you can make this fish curry in all of 30 minutes.

Here’s the complete recipe of Mus Kavab (Fish Curry) with ingredients list and step-by-step cooking instructions.
 

First, keep the masala paste for the gravy ready. Grind grated coconut with spice powders like turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, crushed cardamoms and cloves till you get a fine mesh. Then saute onions and tomatoes along with curry leaves, and the prepared masala paste, and add water. When the water comes to a boil, add fish and let it cook along with the gravy for about 10 minutes.
