Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins has broken his silence on Roman Reigns taking time off from wrestling amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Rollins and Reigns have seen their legacies getting crossed as they have been friends as well as rivals on WWE screen. Both wrestlers formed the The Shield which was a dominant force in six-man tag team matches with an undefeated televised streak lasting from December 2012 to May 2013, during which they scored a victory at WrestleMania 29.
Reigns pulled out of his WrestleMania 36 match against Goldberg for the Universal Championship and hasn’t returned to TV since. Roman Reigns had revealed that he skipped out on Wrestlemania 36 to stay at home with his family as his wife, Galina Becker, had welcomed their second set of twins.
“Oh yeah. They’re just turning out twins, man,” Seth Rollins was quoted as saying by Sports Illustrated.
“This is their second set of twins now, which is crazy to me. I’ve never met anyone that had two sets of twins back-to-back. I was fortunate to get the news a while back, and it was nice to see him come out and explain why he’s been taking time off. He’s got five kids running around at home, and he’s trying to help the wife out and make sure everybody’s safe. It’s awesome. It seems like everybody is getting in on the new kid thing these days.”
Seth Rollins is all set to embrace fatherhood soon as his fiancée and WWE Superstar, Becky Lynch is due in December 2020. Rollins currently wrestles under Raw Brand under the character of Monday Night Messiah. Prior to signing with WWE, Lopez wrestled under the ring name Tyler Black for Ring of Honor (ROH) and was part of the Age of the Fall stable with Jimmy Jacobs.
